Teaching
Nina Sandberg teaches private violin and viola lessons in North Charleston, SC, and at the Charleston Academy of Music, which has locations in Mount Pleasant and downtown Charleston. As a registered Suzuki teacher, she combines elements of the Suzuki method with aspects of Dalcroze Eurhythmics and her traditional conservatory training to create a tailored curriculum for each student. In addition to weekly lessons, she organizes studio recitals and teaches group classes at the Charleston Academy of Music. She offers both in-person and online instruction.
Ms. Sandberg's students have been accepted into prestigious music programs at The Juilliard School and Indiana University, and have successfully auditioned for South Carolina's All-State and Region orchestras, as well as the Charleston Symphony Youth Strings.
